Emergence 2023

TRIPLE BILL 2023

Celebrating their 5th anniversary year, the 2023 Emergence touring programme features a new company of dancers and 3 brand new works.

International choreographers Alice Klock and Florian Lochner (FLOCK) have created a physically charged and luscious new work that demonstrates the dancer’s technical skill, exploring the idea of how we’re more powerful than we know.

Anthony Missen’s (Co-Artistic Director, Company Chameleon) new work captures the raw physicality of the dancers brought to life on stage through their virtuosity and strength as performers.

Artistic Director, Joss Arnott completes the bill with a new work for the full company celebrating the interplay between movement and music, individuality and states of euphoria. This adrenaline-fuelled work will be accompanied by new percussive music by composer James Keane and performed live on stage by current University of Salford students.

ADMISSION: Pay What You Can.

Pay What You Can is an ‘honesty box’ for the theatre. We and the artists will continue to programme and produce high quality events and ask you to pay what you can afford.

As a guide, for those in full time employment we would appreciate you paying between £5 and £15. We also understand people’s income can be precarious, hence the lower price options. All revenue from ticket sales for events at New Adelphi Theatre will always go back to support professional artists, through residencies, commissions, touring work or for more bespoke projects where the student experience is enhanced through co-creation with arts professionals. We thank you for all your continued support.

Please note all bookings and donations come with a 50p – 75p booking fee.

Please note that all tickets are for unallocated seating.
