Herança is an extension of this celebratory, entropic journey, where the performer manipulates what he has at his disposal, reconfiguring the traces and fragments of that rhythm based on the idea of celebration – the festivities, the liturgy, and the ritualistic aspects of everyday life.
As an actor and creator, I seek to develop my work from the tension between body and territory, collective and individual imaginaries, operating in a space of intersection of geographic and symbolic territories as the nerve centre of an artistic movement of counter-memory.
To celebrate them, on May 9th, they follow a ritualistic itinerary, parading for approximately 20 minutes in a march that amplifies speeches, songs, movements and sounds that come out of a convulsed body.
