Welcome to Curio Comedy – an alternative showcase of the University of Salford’s most weird and wonderful comic talents, hosted by Charlotte Cropper. Let’s take a look inside the Cabinet of Curiosities and see which comics are lurking in the teacups…

Amidst the trinkets and treasures, cabinet-owner Charlotte contemplates the terrifying void that is adulthood and asks advice from the most insightful oracles she knows – comedians. Failing that, she’ll whip out a magic 8 ball.

Curio and Curio-ser…this showcase of Salford’s finest alternative comedic talents will feature stand-ups, sketches, clowning and comedy characters from Not the Francos, Cerian the Clown, Tom Short, Joe Greenaway, Beth Moore and Oli Willett as Pownd Sterlin’.

Charlotte will also be joined by special guests, Jack Gleadow, Callad Gale and Ash Cox, to help her navigate graduating and give us the lowdown on life in the grown-up world.

‘Curio Comedy: Salford Showcase’ is supported by the New Adelphi Theatre and the Salford Comedy Society. You can find the premiere below, which will launch at 7 pm on the 14th of April 2021.
